April 6th and 7th, 2016
Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, Miami, Florida

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), the CITI Program, the University of Miami Human Subject Research Office, Miami Children’s Research Institute, Baptist Health South Florida, Nova Southeastern University, and the University of South Florida invite you to attend this informative and dynamic two-day event.

The Research Community Forum Workshop (RCF-W) on April 6th, 2016 provides an opportunity for the research community to get up-close with federal staff from OHRP to explore important aspects of human research protections. The workshop will combine didactic instruction and “hands-on” exercises to explore the regulations, HHS policies, and how to apply them.

The Research Community Forum (RCF) on April 7th, 2016 will cover a variety of topics through a key note speaker and three breakout tracks. Additionally, representatives of OHRP will be onsite to answer questions, explain the HHS regulatory requirements, and provide news and policy updates about the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM).
